A handful of artists took the stage at the Gibson Amphitheatre to offer up performances as part of the 2012 MTV Movie Awards .
Among the acts included in the lineup was alternative rock band fun., who teamed up with Janelle Monae to treat viewers to a lively version of the song “We Are Young”.
