Amy Winehouse Death Investigation In Question

Following the tragic and premature death of Amy Winehouse last year, coroner Suzanne Greenaway finalized that the cause of death was alcohol poisoning.

Now Greenaway has resigned due to questionable qualifications, prompting the notion that perhaps Amy Winehouse’s investigation was insufficient.

According to FOX 411, Greenaway had not actually practiced law for the required five years in the UK, rendering her unqualified for the coroner office.

Suzanne’s husband, Andrew Reid, told press, “I appointed my wife as an assistant deputy coroner as I believed at the time that her experience as a solicitor and barrister in Australia satisfied the requirements of the post. In November of last year it became apparent that I had made an error in the appointment process and I accepted her resignation.“
