It is a trend that celebrities rush into marriage and split earlier than expected, well Aretha Franklin isn’t looking to make that mistake.
The songstress has announced that she and her boyfriend William “Willie” Wilkerson have decided to call off their engagement.
She released a statement, saying, “Will and I have decided we were moving a little too fast, and there were a number of things that had not been thought through thoroughly.”
Aretha added, “There will be no wedding at this time.”.
