Bobby Brown was arrested in California a month ago. The singer had initially been pulled over because he was on his cellphone while behind the wheel, but the officers suspected he had been drinking and conducted four sobriety tests. Bobby failed all four.
Bobby was arrested for DUI and driving with a suspended license, buy was eventually released on $5,000 bail. He entered his plea of innocence yesterday in a Van Nuys, California court.
As part of the conditions for his bail. The judge has requested that the New Edition performer not consume any alcohol.
Although the charges are all misdemeanours, and Bobby didn’t have to appear in person, he could get sentenced to up to a year of jail time if he’s convicted.
Either this is Bobby’s way of handling grief, or it’s just more proof that old habits die hard.
