Evelyn Lozada Pleads With Judge To Allow Chad Avoid Jail
Evelyn has reportedly played a major part in her ex-husband Chad Johnson avoiding jail time for assaulting her as she allegedly asked the judge to spare him from doing time.
Instead of Chad serving time behind bars, the former Miami Dolphins player was alternatively sentenced to probation and required to attend anger management classes, something which Chad has said he already taken up
The maximum penalty for misdemeanor domestic battery is approximately a year in jail but the prosecutor informed the judge that Johnson’s ex-wife, Basketball Wives star Evelyn Lozada, did not want to see Chad go to jail.
”She did not wish to proceed with the prosecution and certainly did not wish that Mr. Johnson be incarcerated as a result of this incident,” said prosecutor Sarahnell Murphy.
Johnson agreed to cut all forms of communication with his ex-wife, with the judge telling him that it also included ”No email, no Twitter, no text.”
