Janelle Monae To Release New Album

Janelle Monae started the year well with a collaboration with Fun on ‘We Are Young’ which performed extremely well on the charts and from all indications, she is planning on replicating the success by releasing an equally wonderful album.

Vanity Fair reports that the official title of Jannelle’s album is ‘Electric Lady’ and will be preceded by the track lead single.

This album comes after Monae’s debut album, The ArchAndroid which won the Best Contemporary R&B album at the 2011 Grammy ceremony.

Monae has been performing ‘Electric Lady’ for several months on the concert circuit.
