Jermaine Dupri made some harsh words to rappers and singers who crossover into each others territories in attempt to sound like one of the hottest rappers around, Drake.
The legendary producer, who spoke to GlobalGrind.com, made harsh comments in regards to artists who try to do it all, and admitted that most new rapper’s on the scene sound like clones.
“I wish that people would stay in their own lanes and do what the f**k they do, as oppose to trying to do everything that everbody else do.”
“Like if you a singer be a singer and let the rappers rap… it becomes too cloggish and rappers don’t even have their own lane anymore. Everybody’s trying to do the same thing and everybody is sounding the same…”
“Every rapper I’ve heard in the last few weeks sound like Drake to me… Y’all can’t even tell the difference.”
