Jordin Sparks Bares Elegance Amidst Bobbi Kristina Drama At ‘Sparkle’ Premiere

Whitney Houston couldn’t be part of the special night so her daughter stole the show in a super tight bodycon dress and her ‘adopted’ brother lover at last night’s Sparkle premiere, but amidst all the drama, Jordin Sparks dazzled in her own right.

The stunning 22-year-old American Idol champion, who was said to have become a recluse after the death of her good friend Whitney, flaunted her recent weight loss in a floor length strapless corseted couture gown adorned with crystals to add a tad of sparkle.

And Jordin turned heads without causing a fuss in the figure hugging gown which showed off her newly trim physique as she smiled for the paps with her raven locks scraped back into a glam updo as she carried a small diamante clutch.

The No Air songstess kept accessories to a minimum to avoid detracting from the statement number, simply opting for a pair of elegant diamond stud earrings and some classy diamond bracelets. Jordin has lost a staggering 50lbs since winning the talent show American Idol in 2007, claiming it hasn’t exactly been an easy ride.

She said: ”My whole journey has been about self-acceptance,” she told Redbook magazine.

”There’s no quick or magical way to lose weight. You just have to do it the natural way— diet and exercise and stick to it— and be able to do it at your own pace. Everyone has their own thing,” she continued.
