Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star, K. Michelle has reacted to the backlash she received for opening up about the abusive relationship she shared with rapper, Memphitz.
She claimed the relationship cost her her career on the VH1 show and was not happy when she was called a liar by viewers her co-star Rasheeda, who is close friends with Memphitz and his wife Toya Wright.
“It’s hurtful. It’s amazing that instead of embracing somebody and saying ‘thank you for coming out, thank you, because I have been dealing with organisations for a year now,” she said to Global Grind.
“I see why women don’t wanna come out… because y’all like, you mad at me? What you mad at me for? I don’t think I would have got that backlash if I had been that person, not even that person, but that person’s husband.”
