AUTHOR: @OrishaNinuPradaNigerian Artistes and Cars with First, Middle and Last names.
In Nigeria, Automobiles are one of the many yardsticks used to measure success. In other words, “you neva arrive, if you neva buy motor.”
It’s normal for fans to idolize their favorite artistes or movie stars, so it’s pretty much normal to find fans argue about which artiste is richer or wealthier.
D’Banj who recently showed off his $200,000 Aston Martin Vantage, caused quite a stir. Tongues wagged, fingers flexed, people helped him make news.
As usual.
This is one of the few luxury cars he owns (Dude has got a Bentley too I hear..*sigh*).
Fast forward a few days, Duncan Mighty, the Baby dreads wearing south-south, Port-Harcout Boy crooner, smacked the faces of internet users with pictures of his Rolls Royce Phantom (I think D’banj yawned when he saw it). His number plate reads: “PH 1st Son”. Just to clear doubts about the automobile not being his. I heard Dude is Ibo by the way. :|
Again, people talked. Some argued like the Cars were theirs. :(
I’m wondering who’s gonna make us talk about their cars next. I should post a picture of a luxury Car and claim it’s mine perhaps? I think I’ll pass. :(
One question I’m seeking answers to is: Who services these luxury cars in Naija?

Na business opportunity be that oh, luxury car workshop. Oya Shei let’s do this
