Prince William Rescues Teenage Girl From Drowning

For many 16-year-old girls it’s a dream to be rescued by a handsome Prince, although for one teenager who got into difficulties off the Welsh coast the dream was all too real, as Prince William had to save her from possible drowning.

According to Wales Online, the Prince piloted a search and rescue helicopter which last night rescued a teenager off the coast of the Welsh island of Angelsey.

The Duke Of Cambridge was piloting the helicopter in his capacity as a search and resuce captain at RAF Valley, and was reportedly in the pilot’s seat as the teenager was winched to safety.

Surfers alerted the crew to the teenage girl, who had got into difficulties in the sea of Silver Bay, in the West of the island, which is seperated from the Welsh mainland by the Menai Strait.

The website reports that the teenager is believed to be from Hertfordshire, and was taken to the University Hospital in Bangor along with her 13-year-old sister.

We hope that the girl gets better soon, and can appreciate the actions of this particular handsome Prince!

We’re sure Kate’s proud of her hubby’s daring exploits!
