HipHollywood.com reports that a Judge has mandated that Stevie Wonder’s nephew stand trial for trying to extort $5,000,000 from Stevie.
The blackmailer, Alpha Lorenzo Walker, claimed he is the result of an incestuous relationship between Stevie and his sister but demanded the money to keep mum on the issue.
Walter, who is reporte to have hatched the plan with his girlfriend, Tamara .E. Dia was arrested and jailed in May after Stevie contacted the police.
“Although [Stevie was] hurt by the false accusations, [he] originally believed that paying Walker was the only way to keep the story from being sold to a news outlet and embarrassing him and his family,” an LAPD representative explained.
The two extortionists are expected in court on the 26th day in July.
