Openly gay singer/songwriter and coffee shop performer Rufus Wainwright hits out at Lady Gaga in a recent interview for being “disingenuous” and “predictable.” In a recent interview with Music Week Magazine, Wainwright (who is a releasing an album produced by Mark Ronson in April), says that Gaga “has not one good song” and that she is bringing about the “return of the cone breasts.”
“People, especially gay men, are falling so hard for it. Certain things that [she] says: ‘Look at me. I was like you one day and now I’m this – and you can do it too.’ I find it a bit disingenuous. We are in this somewhat sinister period and [artists have] got to kind of toughen up and be real….It’s about conveying what’s inside us, as opposed to the return of the cone breasts. I find it predictable and boring.”
Lady Gaga’s latest CD, “Born This Way,” sold 12 million records and was the second best selling album of 2011. Wainwright, who has never had a top ten album, was dropped from his former record label Geffen last year due to poor sales, recently signed a new deal with Decca Records (home of American Idol runner up Clay Aiken and X-Factor winner Joe Mcelderry).

Drake confessed he drinks codeine and smokes weed to cope with the pressures of being famous.
Drizzy revealed he shares the same taste for ‘lean’ as his Young Money boss Lil Wayne, but claims everything is done in moderation, and simply to relax.
“Have I sipped codeine before? Yeah, of course,” he told the Guardian.
“Have I smoked weed? Yes. Do I drink wine? Yes. But do I do it excessively? No. I’m not a reckless guy. I do it all within moderation.”
The rapper explained he could identify with other artists who have succumbed to the pressures of celebrity, dishing that the stress was ‘overwhelming’.
“You get artists who go crazy and don’t know how to handle it. There are people who have killed themselves. There’s the overwhelming stress, how tired you are, the weight on your shoulders of going out and giving 18,000 people entertainment … It’s a lot of pressure.“
