Urban music trio N-Dubz have seen their popularity soar in recent months thanks to Tulisa‘s high-profile billing as Judge on UK’s X Factor, as well as frontman Dappy scoring a UK no. 1 single with ‘No Regrets‘ back in September.
It would appear this surge in popularity is being put to good use if this latest collaboration is anything to go by. For, no one would have predicted a year ago that Dappy and Brian May (of legendary rock band Queen) would appear on a track together, but it acts as a testimony to just how far the Camden-born rapper has come.
Although the collaborative single ‘Rock star‘ is not due for release until February 26th, the full track and accompanying clip premiered just hours ago. Check it out below.Â
While it may not be as instant as ‘No Regrets‘, the TMSÂ production sounds like another hit single for the Londoner and Brian May’s guitar solo coincides nicely, as do the visuals.
Fans of Dappy can expect his debut album, ‘No Regrets‘, to be released in June. There may even be some N-Dubz chart rivalry on the horizon as cousin Tulisa is currently working on her debut solo album – due for release in May.
