Whitney Laid To Rest Alongside Her Father

After a tremendous remembrance by family and close friends at a private funeral yesterday, Whitney Houston was officially laid to rest during a burial service on Sunday (February 19).

The Grammy Award winning singer’s body was placed in a plot at the Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, New Jersey alongside her father, John Russell Houston, Jr., who passed away in 2003.

Only a selected people and few family members took part in the proceedings, Whitney’s remains arrived at the final resting spot in a golden hearse.
